Freedom Tower (known as WTC in NY)
Hello, I have seen MOC of Freedom Tower at California Legoland.
The problem is the old design of Freedom Tower so I am going try to new design of Freedom Tower but How does work with Lego parts with different shape of tower corner with glass. Any ideas?
I like hear your feedback and input on this situation. Can use any older parts if you have any idea? can use Technics parts? Help me out. I heard that Freedom Tower (WTC 1) will complete around 2013 NOT 2012. the Freedom has special iron on corner and using V shape for support (floor 5-7 like that) Also there are other WTC towers (total of 6) include WTC 9/11 memorial.
Those are lot of glass (see through).

Is this the building?
http://dailydaydreamer.files.wordpress. ... _tower.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They have changed the plans so many times I can't remember what they are doing there, or even if they figured out what they are doing. But that curve would be really hard.

Re: Freedom Tower (known as WTC in NY)
Not to derail this topic, but it's a travesty that it's taken this long to rebuild on the site. It's been my long-standing opinion that they should rebuild the towers (at least aesthetically) exactly the same way they originally stood. At this point all the 'Freedom' zeitgeist from the era a decade ago is all but meaningless (if it was ever really all that meaningful in the first place) and the name 'Freedom Tower' just brings to mind terrible gaffes like "Freedom Fries" and "Freedom Toast" (remember when France condemned our 'War on Terror' and that was the ridiculous response?)
To clarify, the World Trade Center was originally comprised of six buildings. The two that were the most famous, obviously, were The Twin Towers (WTC1 and WTC2). I just wish it would also still be the Twin Towers instead of the Freedom Tower.
Anyway, that diatribe over, I could see the construction being relatively easy with a technic skeleton. The angles are actually relatively plain - it's just eight triangular panels, four pointing up, four pointing down. I guess the way to build it would depend on what scale you were going to attempt.
Either way This cross-section picture should help in the construction.
(I've also moved this to 'Building Tips & Ideas')

Ok,
It is right image for final freedom tower as under URL address:
http://dailydaydreamer.files.wordpress" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. ... _tower.jpg
because Legoland california was used the first picture of freedom but NYC has changed to final picture which is above. I am monitor of Freedom tower. I need to figure out how work with corner with lego and each floor has different shape to the top how does work? can give me feedback or tips to start with base (I am not going do below ground zero but I am going to start at ground zero. which start working on it on Monday.
I like to keep memorial of NYC WTC forever and remind them people that we have lost in 2011.
The cost really expensive but would like some fundraising or donation to build this one.
