I found a new version of set 5549 at Toys R Us. It was listed at $31.99

Wow that looks like a great set for die hard Lego collectors and the price is not bad. I love that they kept the retro picture
My favorite Lego set has to be LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean Queen Anne's Revenge. It has a lot of pieces and is challenging.

I also saw this at TRU today. Definitely has a nostalgic look and will probably encourge people who have fond memories of Lego as a kid to buy for their young kids or grandkids.

I saw this today at the Lego Store as well...it was funny b/c the old and new versions were side-by-side. I was curious which "extra" piece you get with the nostalgic version but too lazy to try and compare the parts to figure it out. ;) The red/nostalgic version has 651 vs the other version of 650.
