Dropped by the Sears Outlet in Burnaby, BC today and found 2 LEGO sets deeply discounted. Both sets are 40% off US retail or 54-57% off Canadian retail.

Sadly, the price stickers are on all of the boxes. General Grievous' Starfighter has a massive one too. But other than that, $29.99 for these sets is a steal! I picked up 2 Fighters and 1 Spy Jet Escape.

Wow, never seen Legos at Sears outlet.... Guess worth a shot, I'll stop by tomorrow. If stickers really bother you try heating them up with a hair dryer, should come right off without ripping the box but depending on type of the sticker might leave some sticky residue behind

Picked up two boxes of Grievous Fighter at lunch time. It was gone very fast. I saw another shopper picking up two boxes of it. At the time I proceed to check out counter, only 6 boxes left with not-so-good condition - the boxes were crushed.

For spy jet escape, about 10 (in good condition) were found and scattered at the house. I saw customers dropping them in their shopping cart, too.

The stickers were not hard to remove, just require extra patient.

So, if anyone still plan to get one, be quick.

No problem! But ya, Sears Outlet doesn't really carry any LEGO until Christmas. All of their stuff comes with from other Sears stores in BC that can't sell them.

Last year, they had Darth Vader's Tie Fighter for $27.99 and it came with extra 30% off with Sears Card/Mastercard or extra 20% off with other tender types.

Final price works out to be $19.59 or $22.39. The deal wasn't as good as the General Grievous' Fighter, but still nice.

There's one at the Bayview & Steeles. I haven't been there in forever, so who knows what they have in stock. Might be worthwhile to give them a call though.

You guys actually have a lot. The closest ones in Toronto would be in Mississauga and Rexdale. There's also one in Thornhill and Brampton.

It is expensive when its $65. With 5 cars and a jet, that would be $15 for the plane and $10 for each car if you spread it out.

Well, I used to consider "part out" the set for building something else; however, those parts were not what I am looking for. So, I passed this set. Being said that, it is a good price for Cars fans.

My failure of Googling and search skills, didn't even realize. Thanks. Got my dad to check the Thornhill store for me today...said there wasn't any. Just some Hero Factory stuff and Duplo. He said he asked the customer service counter and the employee that spoke to him was both rude and said "this is an outlet, whatever there is there". I would have spoken back if I was there to that kinda crap response. The other locations are too out of the way for me (Missassauga, Brampton, and Rexdale), too far out west to make it worthwhile to try and get the set. Oh well, that particular set wasn't a priority set of mine.

That's mean.... poor customer service. In this world, there are many people who don't know what they are supposed to do in their work. It seems this employee doesn't like working at outlet.

Thats horrible customer service. You would expect that the workers would have better customer service because of a raise in the minimum wage.. but no...

Anyways, try calling each store. Deals at Sears Outlet are always YMMV.
