Emerald Nights starting at EUR 76,67. Other stuff there but this appealed most to me. Shipping is EUR 20 and the same no matter how many you buy. Thanks to the weak Euro, buy 3 and price is around $100 each.

Lowest one sealed on Bricklink is already $160.

Any way for people in the US to get this? I tried adding it to my cart and logging in, but it gave me some error message (in Italian obviously) when trying to log in using my US Amazon login info.

Never mind, got it to work.
Ordered both the EN and IF. This seems way too good to be true. I'm interested to see if I ever get the items! Although, I once ordered a Blu Ray from Amazon UK and had no problem with that.

Great find! Other exclusive sets ships worldwide as well but I think those 3 = best deal. Their
bestsellers list is certainly reflecting that.

I'd be a little hesitant ordering from Italy, personally. Their postal system doesn't have the best reputation. But I have not dealt with it myself so I cannot say for sure.

This is true, ive had stuff stolen from a box shipping from the us to italy, but given that this is from amazon, i feel safe... And they probably use someone private like UPS

I have ordered a few items from amazon.fr and amazon.it. But the parcels look no different to the ones that come from amazon.co.uk - there are no stickers relating to postal services in france or italy. I think they come from amazon uk stock.

Yes, it appears that VAT is taken out prior to purchase when you select a US shipping address. My item was 17% less than list price when I bought it.

How would I know if I got this Vat reduction? Will it be billed when it goes out, IE maybe a month, in that case price may vary on Euro value. My bank BoA charges a 3% conversion fee to outside currency, something to keep in mind.

I found a charge "Deposito dei Costi di Importazione" from my statement. Did anyone get this when ordering from amazon.it? and what is this?

According to Google Translate it means "Repository import costs". I know this isn't much help but at least you know it is a fee of some sort that relates to importing products.

You see the item reduced on the last page.

I have not received any charges thus far on my credit card.

This is an import deposit to cover the cost of duty and taxes instead of having to pay it on delivery. Amazon.com does the same thing when ordering from Canada. I've often received emails from Amazon months later refunding me the import deposit as there either wasn't duty/taxes assessed or the amounts were lower than estimated.
