tracking pieces and sets software?

I am currently using Brickstore to track all my loose lego and it works like a charm (Although i have fallen behind and will undoubtably have to do a re-count!!!

With that said, i'd love to also have separate of this an inventory of pieces available from all the sets i own. I don't want to have it included with my loose sets and based on what i have found with Brickstore, i can track complete sets however it does not tell me the associated pieces..

What else could i use that does a simple and efficient job of tracking pieces from sets?

There is a 'part out' function in Brickstore, where the inventory of each set can be generated. Is this what you had in mind? You could then merge sets w/ copy-and-paste to have a complete inventory. You can even add in a "comment" or "remark" with the set number, to sort the mega-list and reassemble the sets if you wanted to.

Look for "Part Out Item" under the "Edit" menu.
