There are also a few available as warehouse deals for 80.87.
I hope this is of interest to someone.
FYI... hoarding for personal use only

Me! I've been happy with the Warehouse Deals I've purchased so far, so I think I'll try it. Thanks.

Thanks! Been waiting to grab this forever, and finally just decided to pull the trigger on the Warehouse Deal. We've got Amazon Prime, so no shipping or tax, which makes it much better. I had been waiting for it to come down more, but then realized that $80.87 works out to five cents per piece, which is a great price point, and probably lower per piece than a 50% sale on a Star Wars set!

Wait, if you get Amazon Prime you don't have to pay tax too?

nah, no tax isn't related to Prime. Most states, you don't have to pay sales tax for amazon purchases.

Doesn;t look like any warehouse deals left, If you look where the different vendors/sellers are there is a link that will say 32 more used/new starting at xx.xx It lists the other vendors and way down under used will be amazon waehouse deals. Right now it only shows new available so no AWD, but that is where you would find it.

In the case of Lego, it is often sets in boxes that have been crushed or beat up a little so Amazon can't sell them claiming the condition is new. I bought a MMV via Amazon Warehouse last year and all of the black tape was intact.
HOWEVER, the set was short by a whole bag of parts and I'm still wondering where in the process things went wrong. I don't want point any fingers only to find out later my 3 year old ran off with a baggie because he saw a frog inside.
So my jury is still out on the Amazon Warehouse.

For Warehouse deals, pay attention to the item description. In cases where the description is "Packaging may have minor damage. Item is in excellent condition" the only thing wrong, in the sets I've purchased, was a bit of a mark left by tape (presumably where someone had taped a receipt on for returns or maybe giftwrap). (If others have had different experiences I would be interested in hearing.) Otherwise the boxes were in perfect condition and sealed. In the one case I purchased a set with the description "Packaging is damaged. Item is in excellent condition", the box was partially crushed, had been opened and re-sealed. However, all contents were still sealed in their bags and nothing was missing. I've ordered Warehouse deals maybe 4-5 times now.

Sorry I didn't explain the 'Warehouse Deals' in the first place; I've seen previous references to them on this forum. I think the only thing to add is that they are not necessarily always great deals, for example, there's a Diagon Alley 10217 in 'Used - Good' condition for $180 when it appears that you can order this set from S@H for 149.99 and have it shipped to you on February 12. I believe Amazon is also expecting more stock of 10217, which they will presumably sell at MSRP.
Anyway, I ordered an MMV in 'Used - Like New' condition (my first Warehouse purchase) and I will let you know if it is intact.

I bought a Warehouse Deal Battle of Endor that said "box damage" but "like new". The box was opened and re-taped and was missing the minifigure bags (all bag 1s). If you buy a WD set make sure you open it right away.

Did you have any problems with Amazon over the set? I've been assuming if there's a problem with a re-sealed set, Amazon's customer service will take care of it, but I'm curious to know how they handled your case. Thanks.

Since Warehouse Deals items are FBA, they are stored at and shipped from Amazon, so Amazon customer service handles them.
Same service, same policies, same guarentees, same 30 day return for any reason policy, no hassle...

Got my Warehouse Deal MMV today! It didn't look opened at all. I checked the bags -- all 17 of them are in there! (18 if you count the attached cow bags as two)

My Warehouse MMV arrived today too; it had definitely been opened, or had burst open through rough handling, and it had been resealed with wide clear tape. I also have 17 unopened bags (counting the cows plus horns as one bag) which match the appearances of the bags shown in a review I found on eurobricks.com. It looks like it would be hard to steal the minifigures from this set as parts are scattered throughout several bags. So, I believe I got the full set, but I don't have a 'warm fuzzy'. Now I have 30 days to build it and check I have all the bricks before my return window closes!
