[US] NEW LEGO 40026 Statue of Liberty Polybag
I visit this site pretty much every single day and I guess I've been overdue for a contribution. This polybag will be available at the Rockefeller Center Legostore. We got them in just recently after a million requests for a Statue of Liberty set. Enjoy.

I quite like the pieces in this, hope we can get it in the UK sometime
Re: [US] NEW LEGO 40026 Statue of Liberty Polybag
How much and is it only available at the Rockefeller store?
Re: [US] NEW LEGO 40026 Statue of Liberty Polybag
Very nice Tito! Too bad I was just in NYC a few weeks ago and it is not in my foreseeable future anytime soon :( Rocafeller store is nice...should have asked for ya :)
Re: [US] NEW LEGO 40026 Statue of Liberty Polybag
It'll be around the $5+ like most polybags in its same piece range. Hard to say if it'll be available anywhere else at this point. I'm not sure if any other NY stores received them either, but probably count on these being NY based only much like the Brick Apple. Hope that helps.slacker wrote:How much and is it only available at the Rockefeller store?

By "got them in" does that mean they are for sale in the store yet or just in the back waiting to go on sale?

It would of have been better if LEGO just used Sand Green instead of regular grass green.

I agree, after the Statue of Liberty minifig, I'm not that impressed by this. Which is a good thing, since I don't live in NY!Legobrandon wrote:It would of have been better if LEGO just used Sand Green instead of regular grass green.

Me three. The Liberty minifigure looks better. But I do like the base idea. May get individual bricks for my 2 liberty.atmail35 wrote:I agree, after the Statue of Liberty minifig, I'm not that impressed by this. I was going to say the same thing. I will probably hit the store one of these days. If you are looking for them, let me know, I'll grab a few extras.atmail35 wrote:I agree, after the Statue of Liberty minifig, I'm not that impressed by this. I called the NY Rock store - was told it's not in store & no release info as to when it will be sold, also told "call back in 2 weeks".

Saw the image on another forum and thought it was an old release from way back...

A friend called today and they're on sale for $5.49, but they don't do phone orders so we won't be able to get any that way. I really like this set, even with it being regular green. It kind of sucks that LEGO sees the Statue of Liberty as only a New York symbol rather than a US symbol. I think this would sell well if sold in all LEGO stores in the US. Maybe I'm wrong, but everyone I've talked to about it so far has wanted at least 2 copies.

Maybe later on LEGO will release this set nation-wide. For example, the 3300001: Brickley set was only available at the Mall of America LEGO store, but recently they have been popping up at other LEGO stores in the US. So you never know.

That would be very cool. I'm also hoping that a friend can get their relative in New York to buy a bunch for all of us in the club.Legobrandon wrote:Maybe later on LEGO will release this set nation-wide. Same goes for the 3300000 Brick Apple. It actually became a part of a promo and was given out for free (with a minimum purchase), so I'd say that it'll eventually show up everywhere else eventually.Legobrandon wrote:Maybe later on LEGO will release this set nation-wide. My sister picked two of these for me. I have to say that, it's a big let down. Unless you really needed, I would get series 6 figure instead.

Thanks for the photo slacker, I have at agree, it looks pathetic next to the CMF (and smaller than I thought it would be). It just seems very awkward looking!
Re: [US] NEW LEGO 40026 Statue of Liberty Polybag
Went there today and got one ($5.49 + tax) to compare too. And they also have a few 40019 Brickley polybag - also for $5.49.
I can get a few of them if anyone wants this weekend. (Good for me to earn double points
)
Pm me
