UCS Death Star II
UCS Death Star II
If the license has been renewed and Star Wars and Lego are going to keep this going are there any bets that a Death Star II will be created in light of the success of the first Death Star?

10143 Death Star II already exists, and it's a fantastic set. You're going to be paying at least $600 for one by now, but it's a great build and looks terrific with your other UCS models.

Hm, I should have phrased that differently. I'm talking like a minifigure release of it.QuagsireQing wrote:10143 Death Star II already exists, and it's a fantastic set. You're going to be paying at least $600 for one by now, but it's a great build and looks terrific with your other UCS models.

There are already 2 Death Stars. 1 is mini-figure friendly.

Well lets see, we've have 4 X-Wings, 4 Slave 1's (if you include Jango's), 3 land speeder's, 3 At-St's, 3 At-At's, 6 Millenium Falcon's (if you include the mini and maxi sizes) so I think the chances of getting another Death Star with figures in it is at least 50/50. However, IF they ever did that, it wouldn't be any time soon, especially since the current Death Star is still available.

The Death Star may become like the X-wing, there is almost always one available :P
Re: UCS Death Star II
Anything is possible, but I don't see it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we only saw its interior the three times in Jedi: The hangar where Darth Vader lands, and later the Emperor, and the final duel in the throne room. Anything else they'd do would have to be EU or made up. And since the final duel scene was already in the current Death Star Playset, it seems even less likely.

While the regular playsets get remade over and over, there's never been a remake of a UCS set into another UCS set. That's part of what makes them such collector's items. Mind you, if they remade (or even just reissued) the UCS Millennium Falcon, you wouldn't hear me complaining...hatcher wrote:Well lets see, we've have 4 X-Wings, 4 Slave 1's (if you include Jango's), 3 land speeder's, 3 At-St's, 3 At-At's, 6 Millenium Falcon's (if you include the mini and maxi sizes) so I think the chances of getting another Death Star with figures in it is at least 50/50.
