MOC: the Jinn throne room

In the Muslim holy book of Quran there is a story where the Jinns (genies in Western literature) meet to discuss their recent inability to eavesdrop on the conversation of the angels. Their leader decides to send Jinns to all corners of the world to find out the reason.

I decided to make the throne room where the leader of the Jinns was holding court. Needless to say when the latest collectible series showed up I was thrilled to see a genie figure. Most of my creations are simplistic vignettes in nature: here I showed some Middle Eastern influence with the arches, the lamps and the round columns. The verses also needed needed a depiction of a church, so I built a simple one.

Here is a scene of angels battling the Jinns who come to eavesdrop on the divine revelation with meteorites.
