Lego Millennium Falcon (7965) Trophy Plaque

So I recently bought the Millennium Falcon during the Wal-Mart Clearance event. When I got it home my girlfriend was like “that’s cool but what are you going to do with it after your built it?” I said “I’m going to display it!”… and then the idea came to me… I was going to wall mount it on a trophy-like plaque!

I started with a 24’ piece of ply wood and a stencil I created by enlarging a Rogue Squadron Symbol. I cut it out with a jigsaw, sanded it, and finished it with Polyshades Antique Walnut.

Then I ordered the parts to make the display like sold with the UCS Falcon... and as they said in Episode I "this is sooo wizard, Anni!"
