2013 Super Heroes Figures

Post by anthonyj8 » Fri Jul 13, 2012 11:24 am

New LEGO DC and Marvel Super Heroes figures have been revealed, and all of them can be viewed at FBTB: http://www.fbtb.net/2012/07/13/sneak-pe ... ro-lineup/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
FBTB wrote:First up on the DC side we have Mister Freeze, Aquaman, a white suited Batman, Bane, Commissioner Gordon with a SWAT flack jacket, hooded Robin, Scarecrow, Arkham jumpsuit Joker, Penguin and what I believe is Harley Quinn in a nurse disquise. I believe these may or may not be based at least in part on the popular Arkham Asylum/City games that I have not had the pleasure to play, though Gordon and Bane to look like they may be based on their movie counterparts.
Next up on the Marvel side we have Spider-man, Nick Fury (Finally!), Venom, Nova, J. Jonah Jameson, Victor Von Doom and apparently that red winged guy is Beetle.
This seem pretty exciting, and I can't wait to see what more LEGO has in store for us. Could these new figures somehow lead to a new LEGO videogame? I sure hope so. We'll just have to wait and see. :-D

P.S. Oh, and here are some pics of the figs:

I can't believe they made a Nova minifig lol. That's awesome. Dr. Doom looks pretty awesome. It's nice to know that there are more Spidey sets coming down the pipe!

LEGO please stop taking my money! I'm even excited about Aquaman. Aquaman!

I can only hope Dr. Doom means Fantastic Four. Fantastic Four with the Thing like the big Hulk in any overpriced set I would buy!

I too would like to see the fantastic four. However I believe it's much more likely Dr. Doom will be in the spiderman sets, based on the cartoon series.

I am so gla the venom here has the snarling face. The comic con limited edition one looks more like black spiderman. Now I won't feel bad not spending $200+ on eBay for it.

The exclusive "Venom" was so teasing. So nice that there will be another version for us.

With the line-up of these new batman villians minifigures, I am guessing there will be a set related to Arkham Asylum. Look, Joker is wearing a orange outfit, and Harley Quinn is wearing her medical office uniform.

With the available of movie version Bane, I believe there is a good chance of it. Hopefully, it could detach a batcycle.

You're likely right, however, there's always the possibility of the Fantastic Four appearing in the show. Let's cross our fingers!

And I need more LEGO X-Men in my life.

We may still see another FF movie, as FOX announced a director at SDCC. It would have to be fast-tracked, too, since they're really close to the inactivity period that would see the rights revert back to Marvel.

That said, I'm not sure we should be celebrating that...

Cheers to LEGO for Comic Con this year. The line management was so much better this year and the badge scanning was a major improvement. There was no waiting in line for hours and handing out the prizes was extremely efficient! The interactive build-a-mosaic was fun for me and my five year old son. The focus on a different theme each day was fun with different activities.

The superhero minifigs are well done and if you didn't get the one you were hoping for then you were able to trade outside the booth. Finally, the extra bonus prizes were a wonderful surprise! I actually won the Batman 12" model and will post pix later.

Thank you LEGO!

Is hooded Robin Damien Wayne or Tim Drake?

I'm conflicted. Fantastic Four going back to Marvel would be great. Fantastic Four movie by Fox would mean possible FF minfigs sooner.

Nice! Love the new figures! I can't wait to obtain them. I guess I better get on the ball and try to get good deals on avengers sets before these come out. Already have all the new Batmans.

Yay for new Super Heroes figures! I'm a big Marvel fan. I'm glad to see they made a Nick Fury, since he was such an important part of The Avengers.

Really excited about the new Batman villains and the sets in which they'll probably be included. Love the arctic Batman too. It will be nice to have some different Batmans (Batmen?). In 2012, all of the sets had only one of two Batman designs. :( At least there will be two more with the Electrosuit and the Arctic. Aquaman will probably be shoehorned into a Batman set. I doubt we'd see a Black Manta, since he is too obscure for the common man to recognize. Hope I'm wrong though.

As for Marvel, I haven't seen the Ultimate Spider-man cartoon so I don't know. No Fantastic Four yet though. :( I think FF would work best as LEGO. We just needed a new movie to renew interest in them (or introduce the masses to them).

I'm more excited about having yet another Samuel L. Jackson minifigure. I'm pretty sure if I get Nick Fury I will have four.

I think that is actually Ulitimate Spider-Man Nick Fury, not Sam Jackson Nick Fury. Guess it doesn't make much of a difference with these type of figures, but I don't think thats an Avengers Fury.
