First Legoland Water Park opening june?
Re: First Legoland Water Park opening june?
I'm interested in seeing how they shoe-horn the LEGO concept into the water park concept. That 'build-a-raft' sounds like it will either be quite dangerous, or not all that customizable.

Interesting especially the build a raft. I look forward to this.

I don't know about this. I imagine a water slide made from LEGO would be rather hard on your body as you went down, what with all the little studs bumping into you as you went, not to mention that LEGO is not exactly water tight, I imagine they'd lose a lot of water going down.
And building your own raft for the raft ride? That could take hours, or even days, even if you used the biggest bricks they have.
(The above was completely tongue in cheek, I know they won't use LEGO to make the water slide or rafts, just wanted to have some fun.)
I will have to take my kids to this someday when they are older, sounds cool.

Only if they used standard studs-up technique. If they use some SNOT or a whole lot of tiles, it should be smooth. ;)hatcher wrote:I don't know about this.
