2013 Lego and the TMNT rumour...

Post by Bizarro » Wed Sep 12, 2012 4:38 am

A couple of sites have posted recently about the possibility of seeing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from Lego in 2013. I thought this was an awesome idea and couldn't resist a quick google on the slim chance there was a an image leak (like with Swamp Creature many months before the release of Monster Fighters!)

Unfortunately this is what I found:

I was wondering has Lego ever gone on to produce a theme that Mega Blocks has already poisoned?

LEGO got the Pirates of the Caribbean license several years after M***B**** did. MB also had the Cars license just before LEGO got it.

MB currently makes Spiderman sets too.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

I saw the new 6" TMNT figures at the store yesterday, and I was really disappointed with Krang and April! Krang looks weak and April looks like something else from Cartoon Network. She looks like a giant Friends minifigure. Hopefully if LEGO gets the license, the characters look more like the 90's version.

Thanks Brickbuilder0937! This is good news! :D

Personally I think there is very little on this planet as repulsive as Mega Bloks and not just only because blocks is spelled with a C :/
