It was so close to being in my hands and then UPS handed it off to the local post office. Yeah...it was instantly flagged as undeliverable and is now gone forever in limbo with only shrugs and mumbles from the postal employees. The sad part is that the local post office has done this so many times I'm used to it. Does B&N use the handoff thing for all orders or only with free shipping because it's a major deal breaker for those of us in big cities with crazy mailpersons lol.

It depends on the weight mostly, under a certain weight/size it is more economical for them to use surepost for residential addys....it totally blows. I have found though that my local ups often delivers surepost to my house instead of going to the Post Office. I do not know if it is because live a mile or so away from the UPS depot and it would literally have to travel past my house to the post office or what, but I hate it when it goes to the post office. Oh BTW, if its anything like my most recent BN minecraft set, expect it to be shipped in a box too small for it...luckily it came unscathed, but from the looks of the shipping box I thought I was going to get a pancaked box.
