Hey everyone.
I just got the physical ad for Target stores tonight and the ad states $30 for each of the following sets (for the pre PRE Black Friday sale

):
The Zombies MSRP 39.99
Cole's Tread Assault MSRP 39.99
Anakin's and Sebulba's Podracers MSRP 89.99 (for those of you that missed the walmart clearance-here's your chance to get the set for 66% off retail.)
Price is good November 18th-21st. "All other Star Wars, Monster Fighters and Ninjago sets on sale."
Have fun.
Jared

Dang it, and I just bought the pod racers from Amazon.
However I haven't seen a Pod Racer set in target for several weeks now around where I live so it could it end up being YMMV.

Thanks for the heads up on the sale, Jared!

You seem correct in the YMMV - I tried Target.com (using find in store link) doesn't show any stores in my area (well unless I want to drive 92 miles) with the podracer in stock, and it doesn't even say "Out of Stock" it specifically says "Not sold at this store".
It is however still in stock online- so maybe there will be some to be had via that method on the 18th.

Nothing around me either. Maybe they will bring some to the stores or have the same online price.

I just tried to add 99 podracers to my cart (to check Targets inventory) and it automatically changed to 5 stating "limited quantity". So, they either only have 5 in stock or are limiting purchases to 5. Hard to tell.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

I can't find this deal anywhere. Can anyone else confirm it, or put up a link? The Pod Racers aren't a very good set, but who can turn it down for $30?

Well, i think Sebulba's Podracer looks cool. Anakin's looks plain though.

I found a pod racer in stock and picked it up. If the price drops I'll get a price adjustment otherwise I'll just return it.

Don't forget about price-matching. I haven't seen a TRU yet that DIDN'T have the pod-racers set in stock, and a lot of Walmarts still have them too.

One of my stores has it 'in stock'. Hopefully I can take advantage of 66% off podracers (even though I have the set already).
Can OP provide a scan so I can verify the sale?

Maybe this is Targets way of getting back at Walmart for all the price matching they had to do for the $40 miners set (4204) a few weeks ago. See, Target knows it does not have many Pod Racers in stock so it advertises a product it realy does not have and makes Walmart match that price and take the hit. What ever is left Walmart will clearance them at $30 after Christmas anyway. Just something to thinkg about.

Well, I hope Target and Walmart keep it up on this pricematching war. Its just a win - win situation for all of us LEGO buyers. Lets just get Amazon involved and get this thing with free shipping and no tax to most states.

Don't forget the $5 coupons/coupon codes from the Target Toy Book.

Totally in for a couple copies of the Zombies. Was just at Target today and they had several in stock. It will be my first stop in the morning. I still have my $5 off coupon from the toy book, so two copies for $55+tax seems decent.

How long does an item typically go from 'out of stock' to 'not sold at this store'? I'm hoping my target can still price match tomorrow even though they're OOS right now...

I am checking to see what time TRU opens tomorrow, so I can get a price match. I haven't seen these at the Target near me in at least a month.
