Any suggestions on a proper Gandalf Staff?

Any suggestions on a proper Gandalf Staff?

Would the Minimates one fit in his hand? I was thinking the clear gem but not sure how to attach on staff.

The plain brown stick doesnt do his 'grey' phase staff justice.

BrickForge's wizard staff is a great option...

where would one find a jewel to place on the top of the staff? i cant find any of brickforge's site.

The jewel is Lego made and is available in sets/ pick-a-brick/ or on bricklink. Here is the bricklink link to the part: Rock 1 x 1 Jewel 24 Facet

The bottom of the jewel fits snug inside an empty stud or a minifig's hand.
