Kmart: Some Hobbit sets on sale (ends 12/29)

While making my rounds this morning, I found An Unexpected Gathering on sale for $52.94, down from $70. I believe the Goblin King set was around $75 or so, but I can't recall the exact price.

I couldn't find these in the printed ad or on their site, but I snapped a pic of the shelf tag, which Walmart accepted for a price match, since Kmart didn't actually have the Gathering set in stock. Roughly 25% off on a newer set isn't too bad!

That's pretty cool that you even found An Unexpected Gathering in stock at all at this time. That set was the first to sell out at all stores around here. Haven't seen it on the shelf since like the 14th. Last time I was at Kmart on the 23rd, I only saw 2 Riddles of the Ring and 3 Attack of the Wargs.
I'll swing by Kmart just in case.

Just got back from a wally and they price matched the set at the register rather than having to wait in the long CS line. Great price match policy from Wally, they've gained a bit of respect from me lol...Thank you @MinionD for the heads up and pic :)

Thanks for the heads up. Picked up Unexpected Journey. They also had the MF Ghost Train at $52, Goblin Town at $74, Helms Deep at $98, Warg Attack at $37, Weathertop at $45 and some Dino sets on sale. Star Wars was all full price. Nothing was signed but I checked everything on the scanner.

No sales at two Nor. Cal. Kmarts. Of course, not much Lego on the shelf either and no Hobbit or LoTR sets at all. Going to try for a Walmart price match tomorrow...

One Walmart told me they wouldn't match a shelf price, only a printed ad price. But, the next Walmart matched it! Good thing I had four to choose from...
