HP Hogsmead "Station" 10132 Mod

Post by cylon13 » Fri Mar 29, 2013 6:37 pm

Hi all! This is a modification of Hogsmead station from 10132, built to look more like the village depicted in the later films. The inspiration to create this MOC came from our visit to the Wizarding World at Universal Studios in Orlando (which was a stupendous and highly recommended experience). Most of our reference images for this mod came from photos taken at that feature.

Been meaning to post this for some time, but as you know, if you're partial to a MOC and keep it around, you're always tweaking it! I'm posting mostly to get feedback on the structure, especially with regards to fortifying a roof angled with the 2-brick tall slopes I used here. Take a look at the click-hinge plates utilized underneath the top floor "bedroom." It's almost impossible to test methods in LDD, so it was 100% physical troubleshooting. If anyone's interested in discussing, let me know if you need a clearer photograph of that structure!

Thanks for any incoming comments, here's the build:

Very nice... would also look right at home in the Winter Village.
