Hi everyone,
I found this forum through Googling Lego forums and this place looks great! I especially appreciate the threads about possible sales. I had some few Legos as a kid, such as the original Mindstorms and Movie Maker set, but generally my parents preferred to get me cheaper toys like MegaBloks and Kinex. I watched as some amazing sets like the UCS Star Destroyer and Millenium Falcon passed me by because they were financially out of my reach. After graduating from college last year, I returned to Lego last December by buying a few Star Wars sets (X-wing, Tie Fighter, Millenium Falcon) and then became comfortable with spending a lot more after purchasing the Super Star Destroyer on a nice Amazon discount. From there, I've kind of gone crazy! After collecting most of the current original trilogy sets, now I'm getting LOTR and Hobbit along with Super Heroes. Once I realized a retired set tends to skyrocket in price, I became much more comfortable buying a lot of sets. Now I'm trying to catch up so I can get future sets like Orthanc! I'm pretty much out of display space now, especially since getting the B-wing at the amazing discount recently. Anyway, hello everyone!
