Fire Brigade retiring soon

I couldn't believe it when I saw the small card next to the set reading retiring soon at the Lego shop in the mall a couple of weeks ago. I don't see it online listed that way at shop at home, but looks like Lego is finally ending the drama at least by displaying it that way in the store. Would have to assume they have printed this over and over and sales finally declined enough to make room for another leader.

Thank you for the comment! Hard to believe that it would finally be on the way out - maybe after the holidays this year. But some sets just take longer - i.e. MMV...

I didn 't see any signs at my local store a few days ago, since its still available online, only time will tell.

There were a few signs out, but I remember that one sticking out. I think there was a star wars set also. It was in one of the Boston area stores.
