I was just perusing the news as I often do at work to fill the large gaps of time when I am not working and came across this. I knew that Beckham was a fan of LEGO previously but I didn't think that a single statement would cause the Taj Mahal sales to jump up 663%.

I remember reading this article last year, and I thought how amazing it was how the sales of a certain product could increase so immensely just because a celebrity purchased it. Athough it is a cool set.
